New features πŸ†•β€¨

The following new feature was released to enhance your experience:

  • Libraries: Updated asset cards
Asset preview cards have been streamlined across libraries to provide consistency and added capabilities for different asset types. Some improvements include video previews on hover, improved document page steppers, and asset information on all asset tiles.
  • Libraries: Bulk actions on library pages
It's now a breeze to select one or more assets on a library page to download, add to a personal collection, or share with others is a breeze.
  • Libraries: Personal collections in all library types
We have added personal collections to the icon and logo libraries so that they can be used in the same way as in media and document libraries.
  • Libraries: Updated action dialogues
Asset action dialogues have been streamlined to be consistent across library types and from the library overview versus within a collection. Enjoy fewer clicks and a sleeker experience.
  • Libraries: Justified and grid layouts
The library pages now have two different layouts an editor can choose between. The justified layout is the default layout in media libraries, while the grid layout is the default of the icon, logo, and document library types.
  • Libraries: Asset metadata on the preview card
Library page editors can now decide if they want asset information always shown on the asset card or only on hover. This new setting can be adjusted within the layout settings of the library page.
  • Libraries: Control consumer sharing
Easily toggle consumer sharing capabilities on or off in our library backend settings. Our default setting allows consumer users to share individual assets or create personal collections and share these externally. Disabling this setting will remove this capability from the users, thereby restricting who can share assets externally.

Hi there!

With our new Metadata Permissions capability, it's now possible to configure who can see and edit custom metadata properties. You can now ensure that each user is seeing what they need to see. πŸ™Œ

Library owners have more control over who can fill in specific metadata properties; meanwhile, contributors and creators know where they have to provide more content and don't see properties that they cannot (or should not) fill out.
