Advanced asset detail view

Hi there!

Some great news coming your way for your guideline library pages πŸš€

We've taken the asset detail view sidebar to the next level for improved hierarchy and accessibility. πŸŽ‰

From now on, the right-hand sidebar includes:

  • Larger and more noticeable asset titles and asset description
  • Displaying the most relevant file information, such as size, format, and location of the asset
  • Information is structured in accordion format for easy readability.

We hope you enjoy this new way of accessing asset information, and for any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!

The following new feature was released to enhance your experience:

  • Brand SDK: Rich Text Editor in a shared package
    Partners can now import our Rich Text Editor from the Brand Guidelines settings. Also, other components are available to help build new blocks, like attachments and block wrappers.
  • Integration: Canva
    With the Frontify and Canva integration, you can pull Frontify content into the Canva environment and, the other way around, push Canva designs into a specific Frontify library or project. This will solve brand consistency and productivity issues, saving time, streamlining processes, and keeping control of your brand assets. Check out the help article for more info.

Hi there! What an addition to our integrations: Canva!

You can now enjoy the power of the two platforms that seamlessly sync bi-directionally. The integration will allow users to pull Frontify content into the Canva environment and, the other way around, push Canva designs into a specific Frontify library or project. This will solve brand consistency and productivity issues, saving time, streamlining processes, and keeping control of your brand assets.

The following new feature was released to enhance your experience:

  • DAM: Workflow status for folders in all libraries
    Setting a workflow status on folder level is now possible in all library types (i.e., Media-, Icon-, Logo-, Document-, Template Libraries). This can be done upon folder creation or on existing folders using the settings flyout. Assets added to the folder after the status has been set will assume that status. Read more about how to get the most out of workflow in our help article.

The following new features were released to enhance your experience:

  • Logo Libraries: Upload .mov assets
    Including motion logos is now a breeze with the added ability to upload .mov assets to your logo libraries. You can read more about which formats can be uploaded where in our help article.
  • Libraries: URL metadata clickable link for curators
    The URL metadata properties were already clickable for consumer users on the library pages. With this improvement, we have added a button next to the URL input area for the curator in the backend of the library to view the link in a new tab easily.
  • Guidelines: Navigation Manager
    Structuring the Guidelines is now easier than ever. Add, move, delete, and edit your content to create a clear overview of your Guideline pages, documents, libraries, and more. You can read more about the added capabilities in our help article.

  • Digital & Print Templates: Sketch - we fixed an issue where users could not upload Sketch files created with the latest Sketch version (97).
  • Digital & Print Templates: We fixed an issue that prevented image galleries with collections from displaying targeted images. Now it works the same way as with single images: Targets are not considered if applied in an image gallery.
