Your May release round-up is here! This month's headline is the brand assistant becoming available to all users, making brand knowledge instantly accessible across your portal. Alongside that, May brings a meaningfully improved template editing experience, new ecosystem connections, and a set of access management improvements that make life easier for admins at scale.

Feature spotlight

Brand assistant: Your brand knowledge, on demand
Brand knowledge has always lived in your guidelines, but finding the right answer has meant knowing where to look. The brand assistant changes that.

Now available by default across all Frontify accounts, it lets users ask questions about their brand, generate and review copy based on their tone of voice, retrieve assets, and access guidance in more than 100 languages—all grounded in the content of their brand portal. This makes brand expertise easier to access and apply at scale, whether your team is one person or one thousand.

Ecosystem: Apps and integrations

  • Shopify integration: Keep your storefronts in sync with approved assets
Teams can now automatically sync approved Frontify assets to one or multiple Shopify storefronts, publishing and updating storefront imagery directly from Frontify without manual uploads or duplicated workflows. This keeps Frontify as the single source of truth for storefront assets and helps maintain brand consistency across regional stores.

Small improvements and bug fixes

  • Automated group assignment: Admins can now define rules that automatically map access request form responses, such as requested resources or project details, directly to group assignments. This reduces manual selection during the approval process and makes access governance more consistent at scale.

That's a wrap for May.

With the brand assistant now live for every customer, there has never been a better time to review your guidelines content and make sure it is working as hard as your team does. The more you put in, the more your users get out.
