Here's your March release roundup!
This month's updates focus on giving you more control over how assets enter your library, expanding creative possibilities with animated content, and refining the building blocks of your brand guidelines. Let's dive in.
Feature spotlight
Motion templates: Create on-brand animated ads directly in Frontify
Animated content like display banners, social GIFs, and HTML5 ads are now table stakes for most campaigns: but producing them has often meant leaving the brand stack or sacrificing governance. Motion templates changes that. For the first time, you can create governed, on-brand animated assets directly inside Frontify. Template admins apply preset animations per layer; end users customize and export.

Custom metadata on upload: Structure assets from the start
You can now assign your library's custom metadata properties directly in the upload flow. Custom fields surface automatically based on your library's configuration, so uploaders see exactly what's relevant to them, with permissions and dependency logic already applied.
