Here’s your December release roundup!
This month, we’re closing out the year with updates that keep your assets fresh everywhere they appear, reduce manual work through smarter automations, and bring more consistency across your guidelines and libraries. From dynamic CDN links to workflow and video block enhancements, here’s what landed in December.

Feature spotlights

Always-up-to-date assets, everywhere
Dynamic CDN links ensure that your digital channels always serve the latest version of an asset — instantly and automatically. Whether an image is updated, moved, or renamed, the link stays stable and delivers the newest version in near real time.
You’ll find dynamic links in the Share modal or via the new dynamicPreviewURL field in the API. If you’re already using the new Media processing API, you can start benefiting from this today.

New asset triggers in Automations
Automations now include three new asset-based triggers that help you keep libraries clean and workflows running without manual effort. Use these triggers to automate everyday maintenance, tighten governance, and save time across large libraries.
New triggers include:

  • Asset tag added: Apply metadata or route assets when campaign or governance tags appear.
  • Asset tag removed: Flag assets for review when tags are deleted.
  • Workflow card deleted: Keep structure intact when reorganising workflows.

Enhancements

  • Manage asset link: Faster, more connected curation
Creators and editors can now jump directly from an asset’s detail view to the backend workspace with the new Manage asset link. This small UX improvement makes metadata updates and asset refinements far more seamless.
  • Video block updates: Cleaner, more consistent layouts
The Video block now includes the same layout and styling options as the Image block. Add padding, background color, borders, or rounded corners to match your guidelines’ visual style and keep image and video content consistent.

Bug fix corner

  • Improved asset browsing performance by skipping unnecessary API calls when the Library sidebar is closed — resulting in smoother navigation and reduced backend load, especially in large libraries.
  • Fixed an issue where some Templates exported PDFs with duplicated pages (e.g., a one-page template exporting as a two-page file).

That’s a wrap for December. These updates are designed to help you move faster, stay organized, and keep your brand experiences consistent as you head into the new year. Thanks for following along, we’re excited to share more improvements with you in the months ahead.
