New Features 🆕

The following new features were released to enhance your experience:

  • Integrations: Webflow
    The Frontify and Webflow integration simplifies your Design and Content creation workflow by letting you access your Frontify brand assets from within the Webflow workspace and sites. It will allow you to search and navigate your Frontify Brands, Libraries, and Projects, as well as add your assets from Frontify to your Webflow Designer.

Improvements 🛠️

This week, we crushed these bugs to give you a better experience:

  • Platform: You can now edit, change, delete, or add text to the account name in the settings without issues.
  • Newsletter: The toggle functionality between edit and view modes in the Newsletter now works seamlessly.
  • Libraries: Assets now remain selected when you click on the browser scrollbar.
  • Libraries: The URL generated with facet custom filters has been upgraded, so frontend filters now perfectly work as expected.

  • Apps: Image studio
    The Image Studio app lets users easily crop, adjust, and apply effects to images. You can remove and replace backgrounds with solid colors and adapt images to different formats (reels, carousels, stories, etc.) for marketing campaigns across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and more.

Improvements 🛠️

This week, we crushed these bugs to give you a better experience:

  • Libraries: The asset preview on the approval download screen now works correctly.
  • Libraries: For all new file uploads, we're able to calculate the correct Density for PDF dimensions.
  • Libraries: Now, the collections in the backend are also visible on the front end.
  • Libraries: Auto-approval in DAM now sends email notifications, keeping users informed of approved requests.
  • Libraries: Assets in DAM's libraries now open seamlessly, with no error pop-ups disrupting the experience.

  • Libraries: Resolved an issue where scrolling in the asset chooser did not work properly when a filter was active with a large amount of metadata items.
  • Libraries: Resolved an issue where collections of publicly accessible guidelines could not be visited via direct link.
  • Libraries: Resolved an issue where multipage Adobe Illustrator files did not display a multipage preview.
  • Libraries: Resolved an issue where icon library-related icons in the asset viewer did not function correctly.

  • Libraries: OCR Asset Content Search
    Activate Asset Content Search in your library settings to enable users to search through the text content of their documents. Once active, all PDFs, documents, and presentations of the library will be scanned, and their text content will be made available to the search on library pages, the guideline search, and the workspace library search.

    The Brand Assistant is a chatbot that knows your brand portal. It helps your users answer questions about your brand and apply your brand guidelines with ease. The feature is now live in beta and available to be enabled on your account 👇🏼.

This week, we crushed these bugs to give you a better experience:

  • Libraries: We fixed an issue where the cards in the workflow view didn't persist in the position where users moved the card.
  • Libraries: We resolved an issue about unselecting conditional facets on the library page filters.
  • Libraries: We resolved an issue where the license content was cut off in the usage dialog. Now, the text breaks just at the edge of the wrapping container.

This week, we crushed these bugs to give you a better experience:

  • Projects: The archive button now exists for all of the projects within the project's overview.
  • Projects: Scrolling inside the workflow statuses settings dialog now works correctly.
  • Libraries: The menu's settings for curated collections in Libraries now function as expected.
  • Libraries: Downloading cropped JPG assets protected by license or copyrights works as expected.
  • Libraries: We fixed the multi-selection search with similar arguments.
  • Libraries: The deletion behavior has changed for the columns in the library page filter set-up. It's now only possible to delete a column if no filters remain.

  • Marketplace: Cards Grid block
    With our new Cards Grid block, you can easily display a mix of text and images. Add URLs for quick navigation and customize the design to match your brand.
  • Marketplace: Positioning Matrix block
    Organize elements like logos in a dynamic matrix with labeled X and Y axes. Personalize the design by adjusting colors, sizes, and borders to fit your style.

This week, we crushed these bugs to give you a better experience:

  • Custom content blocks - Animated text and image block. Our partner Totem released a new version of the animated text and image block it developed. It contains a bug fix on the animation and a staggering dropdown in the blocks settings sidebar that prevented editors from changing both settings.
  • Libraries: We fixed a bug where the asset chooser reset to the original listing after searching for a term.
  • Libraries: We removed the library page video preview, which caused massive performance problems on library pages with many videos.
